Please tell us in which town and country you are situated so that I might be able to provide you with the details of your local EXPORT-PROMOTION ORGANISATIONS. They will be able to inform you about TRADE SHOWS and TRADE VISITS.

You will find the type of information that you require in the various DIRECTORIES that can be found on the web. Most of them will have a section on IMPORTERS and that section will have lists of CATEGORIES and COUNTRIES. Among the categories, you will find JEWELLERY, GEMS and FASHION ACCESSORIES (and maybe others that are suitable).

Some of the DIRECTORIES will have a “SEARCH” box in which you can type words such as JEWELLERY, GEMS and PRECIOUS STONES (or whichever similar words you choose).

You will find a growing number of restrictions on the sale of items made from sea shells, Bones, Horns etc. as many Countries need more and more guarantees from manufacturers that raw materials come from managed stocks that are culled in such a way that it allows the stocks to be sustained.

When you promote your goods, it will be useful for you to give full indication that they meet regulations and requirements. This way, importers can avoid questions about possible goods made from endangered species.
