A lot of tourists visit Goa, so it should not be difficult for you to provide some of them with photographs of the paintings to take back with them when they leave. That is probably your best chance of finding a SALES-AGENT for the paintings.

You should also try to arrange a WEBSITE so that the work can be displayed to the whole world.

Hello Laura-Anne.

To sell your paintings in your spare time, you could also try STREET-TRADING or having a MARKET-STALL on an occasional basis. There are also FAIRS and EXHIBITIONS and similar SPECIAL EVENTS to bear in mind.

As you have suggested, to sell your paintings ONLINE, you can put photos of your paintings on a website and let people contact you by e-mail to discuss the details. You should then work hard to promote your website.

You can also draw attention to your work by posting messages in other FORUMS. You will probably be able to find some that specialise in ART. Some of the following websites might be useful to you.

There are a number of WEBSITES listed in this thread of the Forum, so you should first contact those sites and try to place an advertisement or give some information about your work.

On Dec. 28th, in the “I WANT TO START MY OWN BUSINESS......” thread, I replied to SUNIL about DEVELOPING A TRAVEL BUSINESS IN INDIA and the addresses of some more sites were given in that reply.

There is some GENERAL INFORMATION FOR EXPORTERS and lists of DIRECTORIES in the messages posted between Dec. 14th and 24th in the “BUSINESS START-UP AND DEVELOPMENT” thread. The following link will take you to that thread.

I am an artist.I paint using the medium of oil paints and some paintings are created using mixed media's. I live in the uk and I have been painting professionally for nearly three years. I specialise in landscapes, waterfalls, sunrises, sunsets etc. I have my own business and so far I have targeted the NHS in a few boroughs within London who are interested in buying displaying my art work in their hospitals.
