Hello again Martin.

Thank you for the update and thanks for deleting those unwanted bits that I inadvertently posted on your site. The software seems to post the messages even if the “O.K.” tab hasn’t been clicked.

Thanks John for dropping a message on the site and don't worry I have deleted two you didn't finish.
I have started to drop message links on some club sites including http://www.taffsmini.co.uk (welsh owners club).

Building the Acid era and the other site (shopping cart) is taking up a lot of time but the results I believe are tops. We may spent the next six months perfecting the two site and all the links between them and testing to iron out any problems the customer may face. Also in that time we hope to build a water tight business plan and hand out links from and to other sites and clubs.

The other site can be viewed @ http://212.158.244.128/acidMinis/

Hello again Martin.

I posted the information on CLUBS and WEBSITES for enthusiasts of the MINI so that you might inform them about yourself in order to simply generate traffic to your website. Having a large number of visitors would obviously enable you to earn something from offering advertising opportunities. As far as I am aware, you have not indicated whether you are particularly interested in that aspect of having a website.

If you do have such an idea in mind, you might find it useful to take a look at the following web page.

Hello again Martin.

This is nothing more than a bit of relevant general information.

FORD IS TO INVEST £1 BILLION IN U.K. ON “GREEN” CARS DEVELOPMENT. (See the following web page.)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5186284.stm

Furthermore, Ford UK has confirmed that it is investing £240m at its BRIDGEND plant to build a new generation of Jaguar V6 engines.

Hello again Martin.

Thanks for the update. Your news is very interesting and it is good to know that the work is proving enjoyable.

I provided that list of clubs etc. so that (at first) you could simply contact them to announce your existence and ask them all to include a link to you on their websites. A quick e-mail message would be sufficient. Serious business developments would obviously be a matter for further consideration, but it is always a good idea to inform the world about one’s work at the earliest opportunity.

Do you know any PANEL-BEATERS? An interesting message has just arrived in the following thread.

Hi John

Putting together the History pages on the site which to date is 36 pages and found a connection between the 60's group (Motor City 5) MC5 and the 90's group (Kopyright Liberation Front) KLF. All good fun!!!

Now looking at a Unit in Llanfyllin owned by a haulage Firm D.G.Mills which is 11,000 sq ft max with Powder Coating equipment already in place. We can rent as little as we need and grow into it in time.

A friend in the U.S would like to set up Acidminis U.S.A and the haulage Firm D.G.Mills can arrange container shipping via Liverpool.

keep you posted on all thats new @ Acidminis

Hello again Martin.

Thank you for the favourable consideration of some of my suggestions.

However, I think that you are taking a huge risk by not featuring NOEL EDMUNDS. (I could be wrong, of course.) The world will weep.

Your project seems to be developing very nicely. Taking a trip in WALES has definitely become more interesting than ever, and your postings have certainly added an extra dimension to this Forum.

I will continue searching for relevant information on all aspects of this topic, as it covers such a wide range of possibilities. JIMI HENDRIX will have to feature sooner or later, I guess. THE BYRDS will probably get a mention and so too will THE GRATEFUL DEAD.

Now that a DIESEL-POWERED car has won at LE MANS, surely it can be only a matter of time before a BIO-DIESEL-POWERED vehicle achieves success in the race. Some relevant information can be found on the following web pages.

Hello John

My Partner John (Good Name wouldn't you say) in Southampton (don't worry he'll be moving up to set up business) is building our E-commerce on-line catalogue and I'm building up the Club side of things now.

Soon to be shop@acidminis.com and club@acidminis.com

shop@acidminis.com

will feature all the parts we can supply with a membership discount system linked to club@acidminis.com

club@acidminis.com will feature a membership scheme to include News, Chat, Events, Feature your Mini, Mini's for sale, Parts swop shop (not featuring Noel Edmonds - sorry!!!) & Acid Era. Now John this is based on your idea and will show our history over the last 6 decades from 1950 to the present day. The cars that lead upto the Mini, simular cars to the Mini and the future of the Mini and BMW Mini. The music, fashion, art, health, enviroment and the worlg in general from the 50's to the present and forums on each decade. As we have both mentioned in this thread that the Mini and Acid have run along side each other through this time line, what a trip it has been!!!

Regards

Martin @ AcidMinis

Hello again Martin.

I typed a surreal mixture of colourful language into the search-engine and, when the clouds of steam drifted away, that was what I was left with. The whole operation had an aura of magic about it. (I didn’t realise that search-engines need a special type of fuel.)

So now you know (but please don’t tell anyone else).

Best Wishes.

As you say, “keeping it fresh” is very important.

Hello again Martin.

Thanks for your reply (and for the deletion).

I think our webmaster will tidy the place up before long and remove the saboteurs. Such people seem to advertise anywhere at all rather than spend a second of their lives at rest. I regard this behaviour as being something like a nervous complaint but more intrusive, perhaps. As the Forum is so popular worldwide, these invaders feel that an appearance anywhere at all in it will be beneficial to them. (Such is the price of fame, I suppose.) Every regular thread attracts a large number of visitors.

I have discovered the following websites on COLOURFUL VEHICLES.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_car#Oh_my_God.21 (ART CARS)

SURREAL ART can be seen on the following websites.

Hi John

Deleted youe first message.

If you view the site again and go into NEW PRODUCTS and then ACID SPECIALS you will see the first sketches by myself of our fresh new bodykit design, we will produces the arches as a separate kit also. Thinking of design a professional soft top kit also as the ones on the market are of poor design and remind me of a tent I once owned.

More and more ideas to follow, got to keep it fresh.

Long live the Mini!!!

Firstly thank you John for your input.

Secondly why are people advertising on this thread???
If it is something relating to the project, read little of the thread first and you may find a link to my website and then a link to me. If it relates to the project and of some help I will get in touch, the ads below link to a site under construction - what use is that to anyone, don't waste our time!!!!

Sorry I'm here because I have an idea and looking for a little help for people like John who is willing to give up a little of their time to assist us, not for people to make money out of jump on our threads. You have not even got a site to advertise, why don't you try some like...... er lets say the MEDIA!!!
