Single Investment Fund (SIF)

Stella Jones - 365 Direct Ltd.

“The support we received through the Welsh Assembly Government enabled us to access expertise at a crucial time in our business growth. This relationship allowed us to optimise our financial model in order for us to move forward.” - Stella Jones, Director - 365 Direct Ltd.

The Single Investment Fund (SIF) can assist businesses of all sizes with:

-  starting up

-  expansion

-  modernisation

-  restructuring

-  developing new products, processes or services

If your business operates beyond the local market and you need help with a project in Wales, you may be eligible to access financial support through SIF, which has replaced the old grant system in Wales.

Social Enterprises may also qualify for support if they operate commercially (where at least 50% of income or profits are from business trading).

The lowest level of support for capital investment projects is £5,001, but if your project requires a lower level, please contact us for information on other possible sources of assistance. There is no lower limit for revenue support through SIF.

The amount of support will vary according to the nature, needs and location of your project. Higher rates of support may be available in certain Assisted Areas

Qualifying businesses will be allocated a dedicated Relationship Manager, who will help develop a tailored package of business support.
