DWP Film on Tackling Mental Health Discrimination

A public information film from the Department of Works & Pensions (DWP) has been launched, aiming to challenge employer assumptions about mental health.

The film will air across national television over the coming months, and encourages employers to look past any pre-conceptions about disability so they do not lose out on recruiting the right candidates.

Employers are already being encouraged to make a more open-minded approach to recruitment as part of the Employ ability campaign.
