New Measure to Save Money for Licensed Premises
The Government has announced that In future any pub, village
hall, off-licence or other licensed premises that wants to make a
minor change to the terms of their licence (e.g. a small
refurbishment) will be able to use a cheaper, simpler and quicker
process, as long as it doesn't affect the licensing objectives or
involve alcohol.
The process could save up to £250, with a simpler application
form and a reduced flat rate fee of £73.00.
The Government is currently consulting on proposals regarding these
changes.
