The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion
aims to reward people who have played an outstanding and
significant role in promoting the growth of business enterprise
and/or entrepreneurial skills and attitudes in others – for
example, amongst young people or disadvantaged groups.
Anyone who has encouraged individuals to
develop entrepreneurial approaches and achievements with a view to
starting or building a business can be nominated.
These promotional activities could be at a
national or local level.
Nominees could be working in business,
education, training or youth work.
Nominations can be made between
21st April – 31st October each year. The 2009
Awards will be announced on 21st April 09.
