Tobacco Control Consultation

The Department of Health has launched a consultation on The Future of Tobacco Control, aiming to debate further measures to stop people smoking and prevent young people from starting.

Ideas include:

-  removing branding and logos from all packaging

-  minimum pack size of 20 cigarettes

-  restricting display of products in shops

The closing date for responses is 8th September 08.
