Wales Recycling Awards 2008

The Wales Recycling Awards have been launched and aim to reward excellence in recycling in Wales.

AWARDS

-  Community Recycler of the Year - open to Cylch full members that have best demonstrated some aspects of sustainability, social benefits, community involvement, contribution to sector, diversion of materials from landfill or delivering a strong recycling message through excellence marketing a promotion.

-  Innovation Award - open to any organisation active in Wales that have developed an innovative project, product, activity or service in the last 12 months.

-  Local Authority Partnership Award - open to all local authorities in Wales, in recognition of their work in partnership with the local community.

The closing date for nominations is 8th September 08.

The awards will be presented at the Cylch Conference Annual Dinner, taking place at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff on 21st October 08.
