Our aim is to ensure we nurture businesses in these sectors with a wide range of support to maximise their prospects for market success.

This includes support through sector development strategies, where interventions include:

• ensuring a ready supply of specific skills by working with relevant Sector Skills Councils
• encouraging the continued development of strong supply chains
• promoting collaboration within, and between, different sectors
• assisting the evolution of supportive fora
• aiding the development of academic support networks
• helping boost the visibility of key sectors in export markets
